Charlotte Swim Club Management believes in providing children with a positive environment in which they can feel comfortable and learn basic water safety. We feel that through patience, encouragement, and frequent repetition of skills, your child will have a fun, safe and rewarding swimming experience. Group lessons are a maximum of 5 students and a minimum of 3 students per instructor. Classes are held Monday – Thursday for 30 minutes for the four day session. Session I: June 15 – June 18
Session II: June 22 – June 25
Session III: June 29 – July 2
Session IV: July 6 – July 9
Session V: July 13 – July 16
Session VI: July 20 – July 23
Class Description: Tadpole: Typically this class is for children between the ages of 3 and 6. The class emphasizes water orientation, basic water safety, and developing a comfort level with the water. Minnows: Students for this class should be comfortable in the water. Basic skills for front crawl and backstroke are taught. Dolphins: Students should be able to swim the length of the pool in both front crawl and backstroke. Students will be taught the basic skills for front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Stroke Clinic: Swimmers must be able to swim both front crawl and backstroke. This course is designed to assist swimmers with the refinement of all four competitive strokes, turns and starts. **** Payment is required at the time of registration and 72 hr notice required for refund. **** Enrollment is available during pool hours and must be done in person.
